As we move deeper into September, there’s something truly unique about this month that makes it feel like a fresh start—a new beginning after the more relaxed pace of summer. September is often seen as a time to reset, refocus, and establish the routines that will carry us through the rest of the year.
For those who have been following along as subscribers to NutraLei Insight, you already know that this September challenge has been all about making small but meaningful changes. But whether you're new to my community or haven’t had the chance to dive in yet, it’s important to remember: September’s energy is still with us, and it’s never too late to begin.
You can choose your Day One—whether that’s today, tomorrow, or next week—and dive into the four-week challenge that’s designed to help you reset your goals, organise your space, and enhance your well-being.
Why September?
For many of us, September brings the energy of a fresh start, much like the beginning of a new year. The shift from summer into autumn signals change, but rather than dramatic resolutions, it’s about small, intentional actions that add up over time. The changing seasons often encourage us to evaluate what’s working and what’s not in our lives, creating space to refine our habits and routines.
September’s energy is about embracing the transition from the warmth of summer to the cooler, more introspective months of autumn.
It’s the perfect time to:
Reflect on your personal and professional goals,
Organise your space and your thoughts,
Create new, healthy routines that can support you through the rest of the year.
The 4-Week Challenge: Never Too Late to Start
If you’re just joining us, I’ve been running a 4-week September Challenge designed to help you make the most of this month. The challenge focuses on small, daily tasks that build towards a more organised, reflective, and mindful life.
Even if you missed the start, it’s never too late to jump in. Choose your own Day One, and get stuck in! Below, I’ve outlined each week’s focus so you can follow along at your own pace.
Week 1: Goal Refinement
Task: Daily Reflection
In Week 1, we focused on reflecting on our long-term goals. The task was simple—spend 10 minutes each day thinking about one specific goal you truly want to achieve in the next few years. Then, break it down into smaller, actionable steps. This approach keeps things manageable while allowing you to make progress, no matter how busy life gets.
Week 2: Professional Organisation
Task: Daily Cleanup
In Week 2, we turned our attention to getting organised. Whether it’s decluttering your workspace, organising digital files, or simplifying your schedule, this task focused on creating an environment that supports your productivity. Even spending just 10 minutes a day decluttering can lead to greater mental clarity and help reduce stress.
Week 3: Public Image Enhancement
Task: Profile & Presence Check
Week 3 was all about making sure your public or professional image reflects who you are today. Whether it’s your LinkedIn profile, social media bios, or even your personal website, this was the time to spend a few minutes each day updating and aligning your public presence with your current goals and values. Small tweaks to how you present yourself can make a big difference in how you’re perceived by others.
Optional Task for Personal Growth:
If you’re not on social media or prefer to focus more on your personal growth, here’s an alternative task for this week:
Reflect on Personal Identity. Spend 10 minutes each day reflecting on how you’ve grown over the past year. Are your daily actions and habits aligned with the person you want to become?
Set Personal Intentions. Take this time to set a personal intention for the rest of the year. It could be a new habit, a mindset shift, or simply committing to something that brings you joy and well-being.
Reorganise Your Routine. If you're more focused on internal growth, try reorganising your daily routine to better support your personal goals. Look at how you spend your time and make small adjustments that bring more balance and satisfaction into your life.
This task encourages a focus on personal alignment and growth, allowing those who don’t use social media to engage with this challenge in a meaningful way.
Remember Just 10 minutes! And chose one of these a day, not all three in a day :)
Week 4: Review & Adjust
Task: Progress Assessment
And the final week of the challenge, it’s time to review and adjust. Spend 10 minutes each day assessing your progress over the past three weeks. Reflect on what has worked well, what hasn’t, and what might need tweaking. Use this time to celebrate your wins—whether big or small—and make a plan for the future.
This week is about taking stock of where you are and making any necessary adjustments as you continue to move forward with clarity and purpose.
